Welcome to Bury Ladies Hockey

We are a dedicated women’s field hockey club built on teamwork, ambition, and a genuine love for the sport. Based in Bury, we bring together players of all levels — from rising juniors (13+) to experienced athletes — to train hard, compete proudly, and support one another both on and off the pitch.

Our club is a place where women can develop their skills, build confidence, and be part of a strong, positive community. With committed coaches, a supportive environment, and a shared drive to grow the game, we’re proud to represent our town with passion and determination.

Training: 

We train every Wednesday from 7-9pm at Canon Slade School, Bradshaw Brow, Bolton BL2 3BP.

The first hour is indoors in the sporthall and focuses on fitness and stick skills, followed by an hour outside on the pitch where we work on our game play and hitting.
